The sewing machine is consistent and stitches are nice and even once I find my tension. I have gone through 4 layers of Kona cotton without issue, and even over thicker seams without a skipped stitch.
I faced issues with the needle positioning of my sewing machine. The needle was bent with cloth in it, and it took me over an hour to get it out. I had to watch several videos to replace the needle and try to sew something with it. The machine has bent 2 needles and does not even go through the fabric.
70% were impressed with the bobbin system, however 30% weren't
I had to cut the thread, re-thread and re-seat the bobbin, but still got the same result.
Threading the bobbin for the first stitch can be tricky, but it is doable. The instructions are fairly clear on how to do it, but you need to know which threads to pull out from under foot.
I find the bobbin system of this sewing machine difficult to use, especially putting in and taking out the bobbin.
