The eyelets are easy to install and come with all necessary tools, including a hammer, and a nice storage case. They also look great.

I have personally used the product and found that it works for different types of fabric, despite comments suggesting it only works for denim.
I found that the barrel length of the grommets is 4.6mm and the leather I was working with was 4.4mm. I was able to secure the rear washer to the grommet with just 0.2mm spare and compress the leather another 0.3mm or so to lock in the grommets.
The eyelets give a polished finished look to projects with their nice and shiny appearance.
