The tabs stick into the books really well and are easy to peel up and move around if needed without taking any of the ink with it.

The tabs stick well on the paper without leaving any residue. I can write on them with a sharpie pen without any smearing.
The paper has a coating that makes it difficult to write on with a pen and it gets smudgy. The plastic is also very sheer.

I liked the design and aesthetic of the self-stick-note-pads. I could choose a palette that matched the cover of the book I used them in, which made it look like the tabs were made for that specific book and it soothed my OCD mind.
The size of the tabs is a plus for me as compared to conventional tabs, which have more opportunity to get bent and look worn.
I use these note pads to mark books I read, choosing colors that match the covers and designs.
