The motor to move the drum is extremely quiet, even from a distance of 10-15 ft. Using 'lightweight' litter makes the softest swish noise, while the loudest part is when the clump of waste thumps its way into the garbage bin to the side.

I find the assembly of the self-cleaning-cat-litter-box easy. I take it apart to clean it each time I renew the litter. It needs a good wipe down periodically as wet waste smears on the walls.
The cleaning mechanism on this litter box is amazing! It works quickly and efficiently, automatically scooping out waste within minutes of my cat using it. The system is smooth and almost silent, and I love how it keeps everything clean without me having to lift a finger. So much more convenient than manual cleaning!
Cleaning the system is very cumbersome and the litter sifting process requires feces to travel through a tunnel, which gets stuck and is terrible to clean.
