About LET'S RESIN Epoxy Resin
71% appreciated the accurate casting results, but 29% experienced some distortion
I was able to make a piece with no white spots on the front for the first time.
I have tried casting with the resin and found that it is not as clear as I expected and has flakes in it. Therefore, I will only use it for opaque castings.
77% praised for its versatility in material compatibility, while 23% found it only worked with specific materials
I have noticed that the product does not cure with the specified ratio of 1:1 mentioned on the product.
86% praised for its long-lasting durability, though 14% experienced some degradation
I am currently testing the UV resistance of the product and have found that it performs well after being exposed to full sun for one week, with very little to no color change. In comparison, the table top epoxy has yellowed significantly.
The product is durable and long-lasting as it has been out in the sun for 6 months and is still crystal clear with no yellowing.
The product can be scratched with a fingernail, but it self-heals. However, the back can be dented when tested for endurance and hardness as the front side is harder.
After curing, the resin has a softer feel and I am worried that the keys will leave scratches over time.

77% found it easy to release the mold, while 23% struggled with it
The resin dries hard and resembles a layer of glass over the carbon fiber twill weave. It is easy to work with and provides a good result.
I noticed that bubbles were still coming up as the top layer hardened in the thicker mold.
80% appreciated the quick molding process, but 20% experienced some delays
After 16 hours, I successfully molded the product which turned out to be uniform and not tacky.
It's pretty much normal for it to take 24-48 hours to set.
This resin has a working time of 30-45 minutes and starts to thicken around that time. It stays gel-like for a long while and can be demolded after 24 hours, but is still maleable at this time. It takes about 3 days to fully harden.
75% appreciated the smooth surface finish, but 25% experienced some imperfections
If the mold is thick, small bubbles will rise to the surface and ruin the exterior by giving it a sandpaper feel with craters all over, unless mica paint is used.
79% liked its verstality for various applications, while 21% found it limited to specific uses
As the top layer was hardening, bubbles were still coming up.
When I used the product, it left a nice shine when dry and dried quickly. However, I didn't like how it shrunk around certain parts of the canvas.
