About Epoxy Resin Casting and Coating Starter Kit for Art, Jewelry, Crafts, Keychain
Overall Feedback:
87% positive
74% appreciated the accurate casting results
I have used the casting resin to make trinket trays and ashtrays. It hardens perfectly and has minimal to no bubbles.
79% praised for its versatility in material compatibility
The resin pours easily and is thinner than most resins I've used. It's completely degassed by waiting a few minutes or setting the mixing cup in warm water.
82% praised for its long-lasting durability, though 18% experienced some degradation
I would like to purchase a gallon of the product as I use it up fairly quickly.
After 24 hours, the epoxy was still sticky and bendable when I poured the keychain. The tumbler remained sticky even after two days. However, the keychain is now hardening.
I have noticed that the cured resin may not be durable enough as it will remain flexible.
79% found it easy to release the mold
For my first time, it was incredibly easy to do a project like this.
I found the wax easy to release from the silicone mold after drying.
I left the moulds to cure overnight to ensure they were fully solid, but within 6-8 hours I could feel it solidifying.
It is easy to remove from the mold and not sticky.
The resin is thinner than most resins I have used, pours easily, and is completely degassed simply by waiting a few minutes (or even faster by setting your mixing cup in a quick warm water bath!). It also has a quick cure time even with my smaller casts that generate less cure heat, it only takes ~12 hours for it to fully harden, even with liquid additives like alcohol ink.
82% appreciated the quick molding process, but 18% experienced some delays
The resin took resin pigments really nicely.
I advise not to believe that the resin will harden in 8 hours, as it usually takes around 24 to 72 hours to demold.

I cast the flowers twice, with the first layer and then the second layer, but it ruined two paperweights because of the bubbles around the flowers.
