I have just enough wood around my door frame for the screen door to work.
The screen sticks to the bottom of the door frame and patio door. It works better when raised slightly and has a wider gap underneath.
I had trouble with the screen door sticking to the adhesive and it was hanging down from the top of the doorway the next day. I found that using nails or staples was the solution.
