I lowered a plastic stand by cutting it down because it's too heavy on my back. It makes a great stool for changing my boots, but still, that couple inch lift is just wicked hard on my back.
The Vulcan 800 Classic is well balanced and easy to turn, it feels more stable than most roller jacks, and chain maintenance is 10x easier now I can just let the rear wheel rotate.
I'm responsible for not checking first, as I wanted to use the lower Spirit 750dc to work with, but the supporting forks made it too tall to fit under my bike.
This is a great jack, Being not a mechanical person, it takes a bit of strength to jack your bike up, but overall, I think this is a must have for any motorcycle owner.

Question & Answers
What is the minimum height?
The collapsed height is 4 inches.
I had a lift that failed and almost cost me a hand. How do we contact for a warranty?
If you don't have the paperwork, refer to the instructions. It still worked perfectly, I've barely MAXED mine out, but I'm not sure how much you were trying to lift, but I've NEAR MAXED mine out, and it still worked perfectly.
What are the dimensions of the jack?
It was advertised as advertised.
Where can you get the parts for the lift?
I need a bearing for my lift, so I'm wondering how you can contact the lift master.
Is it possible for the stability wings to move to accommodate different width frame rails?
Yes. I used it on my 900lb bagger.
