On 1-2 setting, the noise level is near quiet.
The noise level of the air purifier is very low and I don't notice it unless I deliberately listen for it. It's just white noise and not bothersome. Also, I've observed that my allergies seem to be slightly better.
On the lowest settings, I can't hear the air purifier unless I put my ear very close to it. On the highest settings, it's certainly audible. The specs say 18-46 dB. A very quiet room is probably 30-40 dB of ambient noise.
At Fan setting 2 or higher, I hear a disturbing cackling noise from the fan.
