My old AC was more than 10 times as noisy as my current one, which reads about 50db on my phone. It also didn't cool as well.
I noticed that the fan and compressor are quiet but the unit makes irregular clicking, creaking, and popping noises.
The noise level of the air conditioner is irregular, loud, disruptive and incessant.
My partner gets annoyed because the beep sound of the remote control is loud enough to wake them up.

I am dissatisfied with the remote control functionality of the room-air-conditioner. The beep noise of the remote is loud and can wake up my partner. The remote should have a silent feature or no beep at all. The turn on light feature for the a/c unit is not visible from a long distance.

I recommend running the AC on a low setting to make it quieter and more energy efficient. When it gets really hot, it is strong enough to cool down to the desired room temperature.
I can easily bring the room temperature to a comfortable 75 with this unit and it operates quietly.
I am disappointed with the cooling power of the air conditioner. It is not as powerful as advertised and cannot effectively cool a 450 square foot space.
