I struggled with cleaning my traditional rolling pin because flour and/or dough gets stuck between the handles and the actual pin. I also worried about whether it was dry in that area before I stuck it back in the drawer. However, this new rolling pin is all one piece with nowhere for dough or flour or water to hide, which solves my problem.
