The vacuum works on any kind of floor.
The robotic vacuum cleans wooden floor and carpet/rug very well.
The vacuum works great on hardwood floors, laminate floors and carpeting.
The robotic-vacuum works well on linoleum or wood, but it is not versatile enough to clean wet spots on porcelain tiles.

I was impressed with how quiet the vacuum is.
I assumed that the robot vacuum would be loud, but it turned out to be quiet, which made me happy.
When I use the vacuum, I have to turn up the volume of the TV because it's a little noisy. But it's not annoying.
