69% liked the noise level, but 31% didn't
The noise level of the robotic vacuum is much lower than conventional vacuums, making it great for everyday cleaning of dust, hair, crumbs, and small debris. However, I still prefer the old mop up.
The noise level is a bit loud but still quieter than a regular vacuum.
I have found that the Roomba is a noisy vacuum with different decibel levels on carpet and tile floors. It is even louder on carpeted areas and extremely loud on tile. This negative feedback is based on my experience and relates to the noise level feature.
The noise level of the vacuum is so high that I cannot stand to run it while in the same area.

Roomba does a great job cleaning both vinyl floor and carpet.
The robotic vacuum can clean hardwood floors, heavy duty entryway rubber mats and even picked up a detachable handle on the bottom of one of my cordless slider shades.
The vacuum isn't as good as the heavy one on carpet, but it gets the job done so I don't have to use the big one every day.
The vacuum does a great job with pet hair and dust on hard floors.

The trash bin appears bigger than 530, but due to the U-shaped filter, it has less capacity.
I need to empty the dustbin frequently due to the size of my house and the number of pets. During one cleaning session, I had to empty the bin 4 times.
The dirt receptacle is small and needs to be emptied frequently.
