About CVLIFE 3-9x40 Rifle Scope
Overall Feedback:
85% positive
91% found it easy to adjust, while 9% struggled
I have trouble getting a clear picture on things less than 15 yards because of the lack of AO adjustment in my scope.
72% appreciated the battery life, but 28% experienced frequent drain
I have purchased a different scope with AO adjustment and can see much more clearly than this one at 10 yards.
I had to re-tighten the scope periodically while shooting until it finally lost zero at around 180 rounds.
91% appreciated the build quality, though 9% experienced issues
I have compared this rifle scope to other optics I have used and found the build quality to be nice and solid. The structure is rigid, the optics are clear, and the gears to adjust have a nice resistance feel to them.
I cannot trust this scope for hunting.
78% liked the magnification power, but 22% found it difficult to use
I noticed that the magnification adjustment ring turns counter clockwise and the finger catch is on the left side not the right. With low rise mounts, I can only go from 3x to about 5x then the finger catch hits the rifle and stops.

Without AO adjustment, I find it difficult to get a clear picture of things less than 15 yards. At 10 yards on min magnification (3X), the image is blurry, but I can see things clearly at 30 yards even on max (9X) magnification.
84% praised the mounting process, though 16% raised issues
I was able to mount the scope on my Ruger 10/22 with Picatinny rails without any issues.
I had a problem with mounting the rifle scope. With low rise mounts, I could only go from 3x to about 5x, and then the finger catch hit the rifle and stopped. However, I was able to solve this issue by switching to mid rise mounts, which allowed for full magnification.
87% liked the night vision capability, but 13% found it insufficient
Without AO adjustment, I have trouble getting a clear picture on things less than 15 yards.
I faced a problem with adjusting the scope, specifically with moving the crosshairs. I found a solution by turning both the windage and elevation adjustments left and right several times, which allowed me to move the crosshairs to the desired position.
The rifle scope is clear and has never needed to be sighted in since I put it on my 22 rifle.
