About Arken Optics SH4J 6-24X50 Rifle Scope FFP Illuminated Reticle
Overall Feedback:
90% positive
85% found it easy to adjust, while 15% struggled
The parallax knob works, but not at the labeled distances.
73% appreciated the battery life, but 27% experienced frequent drain
Installing the battery was easy and it lights up the reticle well.
I own two vortex scopes and after two years of using a red dot a Sparc II, I noticed the small cable that holds the dust cover on was starting to fray.
88% appreciated the build quality
The scope has a feature-rich design, impeccable zero holding, clear glass at max zoom, good eye relief, and a great illuminated reticle.
89% liked the magnification power, but 11% found it difficult to use
I did not mention the magnification power of the rifle scope.
The only drawback of this scope is small amounts of chromatic aberration, which is a common issue with scopes up to $1k.
82% liked the night vision capability, but 18% found it insufficient
The scope is not at a night force level and the company should not advertise warranty if they have no intentions of backing it up.
I faced a problem with adjusting the scope, specifically with moving the crosshairs. I found a solution by turning both the windage and elevation adjustments left and right several times, which allowed me to move the crosshairs to the desired position.
