When using lidded filters, the pods end up so clean after use that there is no need to wash between each use.
These reusable coffee filters are easier to clean than paper filters. I open them up over the trash, give the bottom a sharp tap, and the used grounds and filter drop out.

I find these reusable K cups easy to use. I drop them in place gently and give them a slight rotation, which helps them to drop in place.
It's easy to use any flavor of ground coffee that I prefer in the moment.
