About Behringer BH 470 Studio Monitoring Headphones
Overall Feedback:
79% positive
71% appreciated the sound, but 29% noted occasional distortion
I was impressed with the sound quality of the headphones. The price point is quite impressive and the noise cancellation is pretty tight.
The headphones are not studio quality for analytical and flat mastering, but they sound nice for music and instrument practice and are a good value for money.
The headphones have a bass-heavy sound which makes spoken word seem slightly over-blown.
74% found them easy to transport
The headphones have large earpads that keep external noise out, making them robust and portable for use in different environments.
78% liked the frequency response, but 22% found some frequencies lacked clarity
There is a slight drop in frequency response between 2.5 kHz and the low end sounds a bit boxy, but it is still very listenable.
I have noticed an issue with the top-end frequencies of the headphones, they sound like they are coming out in lo-fi.
73% liked the comfortable fit, but 27% found them too tight after extended use
The BH 470s provide a more comfortable listening experience, but the headband is relatively tight for people with larger heads and needs to be broken in.
The comfort level is a perfect 10 and the materials, although mostly plastic, seem durable.
