About Audio-Technica BPHS1 Broadcast Stereo Headset
Overall Feedback:
79% positive
72% appreciated the sound
The sound quality is great with adequate rear and side noise rejection.
78% were satisfied with the noise cancellation , but 22% weren't
I faced an issue with noise cancellation of my headphones. I heard crackling sound throughout the podcast episode and when I played it back, the entire audio was ruined because of the loud crackling sound coming from my headphones.
80% liked the frequency response, but 20% found some frequencies lacked clarity
I need an audio interface with ample gain as the microphone I'm using is dynamic and produces a lower signal.
76% appreciated the durability
My pair has survived many bangs and accidental drops and has been with me for a little over half a year.
I have dropped and kicked the headphones multiple times since March and they still look new.
75% liked the comfortable fit
The headphones are comfortable to wear all day long, even with glasses, but only with replacement ear pads.
77% highlighted the ample cable length, but 23% found it cumbersome
The cable length is perfect and long enough to move around my desk.
The cable is long, allowing me to stand up and move around during calls.
I warn that the cable is long, heavy, snaps frequently, and feels in the way.
The cable plug hits my arm from time to time, making it uncomfortable to move my head.
I don't mind the slight touch of warmth in the upper bass and lower midrange of these headphones, as they are plenty revealing for mastering and mixing duties with extended highs and deep, detailed bass. The midrange frequencies are input/output with no editorializing.
I find that the M70x has a neutral, bright, analytical sound signature with a high level of detail retrieval.
