I was pleasantly surprised with the sound quality of my voice when I plugged the AKG earphones into my mic. The sound quality was clear, crisp and accurate.
The headphones deliver good sound quality with sharp and crisp highs, full and warm midlevels, and strong base without being overdriven.

The headphones have an incredible frequency response beyond my hearing limits. I suspect a wired connection and external amplifier with the same response is necessary.

I am not as impressed with the comfort of the headphones as others. My ears touch the drivers and there is no foam layer to cushion that point. I tend to need a break every 3-4 hours, but that is pretty good for this type of headphones.
The headphones are uncomfortable to wear after only a few minutes because the tips of my ear wings rub and squish against the speaker pads, causing discomfort. Additionally, the cups are rather shallow.
