About Neosmuk Magnets with Screws, 40lbs Strong Neodymium Disc Magnet
Overall Feedback:
97% positive
93% liked its strong adhesion, but 7% found it fell off easily
A tip to reduce the strength of the magnet and prevent scratching of the magnet or the object it is sticking to is to put a little dab of hot glue or epoxy on the magnet. I prefer hot glue because it is easy to adjust the thickness and remove it if needed. A thin layer of 1/4 inch or so will not reduce the magnetic strength much but allows the object to be slid off the magnet easily.
When two magnets are put together, it is very hard to get them apart again.
I epoxied a couple of washers to the back of one of the signs because it did not have enough iron to stick to the magnet securely.
89% appreciated the high-quality coating
Before releasing the magnet, I warn that its strength can break flimsy materials.
95% found it to be extremely durable, while 5% experienced demagnetization
I noticed that the magnet came loose with moderate effort, probably because I was only pulling with about 20 pounds force.
95% praised for its incredible magnetic strength, though 5% found it weaker than expected
The magnetic strength of the magnets was not as strong as advertised.

The magnets are enclosed in a steel cup and only a single large side can actually stick to ferrous metals.
