I am satisfied with the control options of the range hood. The lights and controls are bright and intuitive to use, and gesture controls work as advertised.
I appreciate the control options of the range hood, including waving my hand to turn it on and off and using the remote control to set a timer.
I contacted support and corresponded with Jesse at IKTCH support. Jesse listened to my problem description, made inquiries for further analysis, and determined that the control panel needs replacement.
The IKTCH hood control options are so easy that you can control fan/light and fan speeds by waving your hand or shaking your head near the middle section of the unit while cooking.

The installation process of IKTCH range hoods is easy and can be done in about 15 minutes if there is a power outlet and you are handy with measuring, drilling holes, and tightening screws. IKTCH provides installation parts for most installation situations.
The installation process was quite difficult. I had to buy some pine studs from Lowes to build a supporting frame for the sides. I unplugged and moved the stove out of the way, hoisted the thing up and had to rest it on my head to get it properly leveled while my wife provided additional support. It was a huge pain to install and definitely required two people.

I appreciate the cool LED lights of the range hood. They provide comfortable lighting without heating waves from the bulb, unlike most other brand range hoods. The LED lights also illuminate cooking activities with a pleasant light color.
