I appreciate the gesture sensing control of the range-hood, which is especially convenient during cooking and has an accurate sensor.
I sometimes have to wave at the hand-motion power control more than once, indicating a possible learning curve.
I read that none of the buttons on the control panel work. I also read about the poor gesture control before purchasing but thought I could get by using the button controls to turn on and adjust fan speed.

I find the removable grates of the range-hood very convenient as they can be easily cleaned in the sink or dishwasher and put back in place.

I gave the range-hood installation process three stars. I had to install it with a friend, but we managed to do it well. Make sure to tightly seal the ducting from the unit through the wall or ceiling for it to work fully.

I am dissatisfied with the lighting of the range-hood. It is too dim even with the dimming and brighter feature. I plan to replace the lights with other LED puck lights that are brighter and better.

The range hood is a little loud, but it is expected due to the amount of air it moves. You can have a conversation beside it when it is on low, but if it is turned up, you will have to talk a little louder.

I find the range-hood generally quiet but powerful. It sounds like a wind tunnel on high, but I'm willing to tolerate the noise as long as it effectively removes cooking fumes and smells.
