The controls are not perfect as turning off the fan also turns off the lights, which is an annoying design.
The range-hood control options are bad. If you turn on the fan and light, you have to shut off both to turn off the fan. The light turns on at the dimmest setting first, which is not desirable. It should turn on high and then go lower as you press it more.

I find the vent grills super easy to remove and clean. I clean them once or twice a month depending on what I cook. I use a brush and soap to clean them in the sink before putting them through a dishwasher wash. The vent grills come out squeaky clean from the dishwasher and are easy to put back on the vent.

The installation process of this range-hood was pretty straightforward. However, it is advised to have two people install it as the unit is heavy for one person to hold and secure.
I found this range hood difficult to install, despite having installed several ducted range hoods before.
Installing this range-hood definitely needs another person or some sort of lift. The biggest difficulty I faced was making sure I had a long enough extension for the bolts.
