The range-hood has a pleasant chime/sound effect when pressing the control pad for different functions or to turn it on or off.
I find the control options of this range hood to be not user-friendly. I have to press Power, then turn the light on, then set the fan speed. It is not possible to just press one button for fan speed, and it always defaults to 4 bars.

I appreciate the ease of cleaning of the range-hood, including the easy to remove and replace grate filters, absence of greasy screens, and presence of a grease tray that catches drips and is also easy to clean.

Installing this range-hood is difficult as it requires propping up with 2x4s and drilling screws into the top of the unit, which is hard to see. I have never had to build something to install something, and it is easily a 3 person job.
It took me 7 hours to install the range-hood. I had to move slowly and steadily without losing my cool.

I found the included LED lamps useless and pathetic. I got better lamps at Home Depot which cover the range top perfectly and provide excellent illumination.
I replaced the yellow lights that came with the range hood with 4000k lights to match my under the cabinet lights, and it looks much better.

Having two fans on both sides compared to the one-fan venting I had before alone has made a massive difference. This unit pulls smoke and steam up like no ones business, even on the lower settings.
