After placing the wood in, I found the installation process of the range hood to be easy and it took only 10 minutes from mounting to wiring to powering on the breaker.

The range hood has poor suction power as smoke from the stove is not significantly sucked in, causing the smoke detector to go off when grilling a steak.

I have used a previous ductless hood range that blew air directly into my face, but this specific model blows the air directly up and does not cause my upper cabinets to steam up or collect water when I cook. This range-hood has excellent ventilation efficiency and I highly recommend it.
I am disappointed with the ventilation efficiency of the range-hood. The fan moves no air and moves more air down than up into the vent, creating no draft at all.
