About EVERKITCH 30 Under Cabinet Range Hood Kitchen Vent Hood
Overall Feedback:
76% positive
93% found the control options helpful, although 7% struggled
The range-hood has 2 separate fans that are controlled independently, but they are contained in a small area and do not affect the ventilation performance. It only adds to the confusion for the controls.
90% were satisfied with the ease of cleaning
I appreciate the ease of cleaning the range-hood, especially the removable grease filter that can be put in the dishwasher. I am used to the old wire mesh style filters which are difficult to clean.
I find that the range hood is easy to clean as the grease filter can be removed and cleaned in the dishwasher.
83% found the installation process quick; however, 17% faced difficulties
Installation alone is near impossible and the hole template is useless and inaccurate.
Installing it is very difficult because the panel only has slide hangars like on a power stripe.
It is difficult to tighten the back bolts and needle nose pliers are needed to do so.
It is impossible to install the range-hood alone and there are no mounting brackets for top or bottom. It does not mount like an OTR range.
86% praised the lighting feature, but 14% encountered problems
The low setting of the light is like a night light and the high setting is not enough to light up the stove cooking area.
91% were satisfied with its silent operation; 9% weren't
The range hood is not completely silent, but it's not too loud either. It produces the normal hum of a range hood fan.
89% appreciated the suction power, yet 11% found it lacking
If you replace a microwave exhaust with this range-hood, the suction power may not be strong enough as it sits higher above the cook surface compared to the bottom of a microwave.
The range-hood has 2 separate fans that are controlled independently, but they are contained in a small area and do not affect the ventilation performance. It only adds to the confusion for the controls.
This range hood does not have fancy features like motion activation sensors or modern LED display, which are present in other range hoods that cost more than $300.
The control buttons are conveniently placed and easy to use. I can adjust the fan speed and lighting with minimal effort.
