When I wore the small raincoat on top of a t-shirt, it fit perfectly. But when I wore it with a sweater, it was a little more snug than I like and I felt some tightness when I raised my arms. However, the medium size fit beautifully with the sweater.

I bought both a small and medium to try and found that the small fits perfectly, worn on top of a t-shirt, but when I put on a sweater and then put the small on, it still fits but was a little more snug than I like. Reaching my arms up, I felt some tightness. I put the medium on with the sweater and it fit beautifully. On the looser side, and perfect for layering and felt comfortable moving around in with the shirt, and sweater on underneath.
