I like that the radio uses a powerful and non-proprietary 2170 rechargeable battery. The flashlight and reading light are incredibly bright, more like a tactical flashlight than an afterthought in a radio.
The documentation has improved and provides useful details on battery life and charging times using different methods. This version does not include the AC plug for USB.

I find the tuning inconvenient as I have to go through every single frequency over 4 thousand of them, either by continually pressing the tuning button, or using the search feature that stops on each station found.
