The radar detector provides a warning about 2-1.5 miles in advance and is very accurate.
The radar is not very accurate and may not detect a cop parked perpendicular to the road I am driving on.
The radar detector is not as accurate as expected with false alerts and late alerts. Even with the highest sensitivity, it still wasn't accurate and would randomly turn on and off.
At the most sensitive setting, I found the unit had very poor range, which was a big disappointment. The title says 'Long Range' but that is a big fat lie.
