The radar detector provides a warning about 2 miles to 1.5 miles in advance and is very accurate.
The radar detector has difficulty detecting radar from the side and behind, but it does detect radar from in front.
At the most sensitive setting, the unit has very poor range. The title of the product says 'Long Range' but it is not accurate.
