My experience with the drone has been negatively impacted due to its short battery life of only 15-20 minutes before needing to be charged again.
I suggest fully charging both drone batteries before gifting as their battery life is pretty short.

I recommend this drone for all ages to learn how to operate an RC drone. It allows trimming and fine-tuning of the blades to stay perfectly still and not drift when not applying control. I have learned how to fly straight, back, turn, fly to the right and left, up and down and have mastered it in no time. Two spare blades are supplied with it, even though the blades have protectors.
