I used a protective shield to cover my backup and frontal cameras and found it to be elastic, adhering, strong, and conforming.
I faced difficulty installing the protective shield on my car's hood, but then I remembered that I had ceramic coated the hood prior. So, I buffed the ceramic coat away and the shield stuck to the hood without any problem.
I had to cut the protective shield to fit it with the backing in place and then used soapy water spray in my application.
