About BIG HORN OUTDOORS Portable Infrared Broiler Propane Gas Grill
Overall Feedback:
98% positive
97% praised its excellent cooking performance
I have found that this grill delivers high-end steakhouse quality cooking using the same design as Ruths Chris or Lugers. Infrared, top-down cooking is the way to go.
I can sear a 1.5lb ribeye on the grill in 20-30 seconds and finish it on low while still having three minutes left on the veggies in the steamer.
The grill has changed the way I cook and my steaks are better than anything I've made before and most steakhouses.
I have cooked everything possible and this is the best way to cook a steak.
95% appreciated its durability
The oven's build quality seems durable and promising longevity.
I was impressed with the build quality of the product, especially the heavy solid stainless steel trays and racks.
93% found it easy to assemble
Installing and disassembling each individual part of the Big Horn Grill that comes in contact with food is easy.
The grill was easy to assemble with quality materials, taking only a few minutes.
Installing the new thermocouple was easy and quick.
97% appreciated its easy cleaning
When I fill the deflector with water instead of using the deflector above the drip pan, there is no mess to clean up.
The cleanup process is fairly simple. I can empty the tray and put it all in the dishwasher every 4-5 uses.
I suggest lining the bottom with aluminum foil for easy cleaning.
91% appreciated its safety features
The grill has a safety feature in the form of a metal tent that prevents grease fires in the drip pan.
I have found that this grill delivers high-end steakhouse quality cooking using the same design as Ruths Chris or Lugers. Infrared, top-down cooking is the way to go.
I had a great experience with the cooking performance of the grill. I was pleased with the result of my first rib eye steak. I let it warm up for 10 minutes and got a beautiful sear without sticking. The burner tubes layout, the flame shield, and the shape of the fire bowl heats the cooking surface more evenly than I could have hoped for.
I have found that the BBQ performs well with independent control of all three burners and adjustable low and high temperature settings.
