The speakers in the projector are really good for how small the unit is and the built-in ones are sufficient for my needs.
The built-in speaker is adequate for hearing and understanding dialogue, but hooking up your own speaker can greatly improve the experience.
The sound quality is very good and clean. I can enjoy a good movie without having to connect speakers.
The sound output is decent enough for indoor use, but it would benefit from a speaker plugged into the aux port especially with outdoor use.

I tested wireless streaming from Android and iOS and found it to work perfectly. However, movies from Netflix and other providers cannot be enjoyed from such devices due to a limitation of these apps and not because of any defect of the projector.
I recommend using a chrome cast or a streaming stick as the projector is not compatible with Apple phones.
I can connect the projector to wifi to mirror content from my phone, but Hulu/Netflix/etc won't work that way because of copyright protection.
