The thermostat drove the air conditioner down to 63 degrees even though the temperature was set to 72 degrees and the room air was 70 degrees.

When I turn the switch from heat to cool, the thermostat gets stuck with the display showing off.
I have complained that the display of this thermostat is not clear and it is an inconvenience compared to older models. The older models displayed the set and ambient temps; but this one shows only the ambient temp. I have to reference the preset temp by using the up/down arrows as off changing the temp. When I do this, the display shows the preset temp and moves that temp dependent on which arrow I've pressed.
