Yuasa batteries are shipped dry and require acid to be put in them. Yuasa has a bullet proof system to keep from spilling acid and an easy way to seal the battery afterward. My previous ATV had an OEM Yuasa battery and it went 5+ years and when I sold it it was still fine. I have found Yuasa batteries to be good in terms of performance.
I compared the performance of the new battery with the OEM battery and found that the new battery can crank the motor over better.
