After comparing the performance of two different batteries, NLP 5 and NLP 9, I found that NLP 9 works much better for this engine. The RPMs while cranking are significantly higher than the stock battery and the NLP. The voltage doesn't drop after a few starts. Therefore, I recommend NLP 9 as the right battery for this engine.
