I set the volume to one when it arrived, and never touched that part again. I like the sound of it and the fact that it gives a warning if someone tries to move it.

That would make it less effective, because most theives don't know how to operate it, and they probably won't be able to find it and turn it off before you hear it.

I had to cover my ears when testing it because it was too much to bare, but it's great how it gives off a single loud beep as a warning if you film it once and then go off continuously.

I have a Yamaha bolt and it blends in well, I keep it covered when I remove the cover, and it gives a warning sound before I get the cover off, that is a really good feature. I keep my bike covered and even when I remove cover it gives a warning sound before

The bike alarm can be a bit hard to set up, but it's worth it if you want to protect your ears from the highpitched sound of the alarm.

    Question & Answers

    Q:

Does the alarm turn off after a certain time if it's triggered?

    A:

If you move what ever you have attached to it, it will give you a warning alarm 2 seconds, if it still detect touch or knock in the next 2-12 seconds, and if you don't move anything else, it will alarm 30 seconds.

    Q:

If the battery is not triggered but set every night, how long does it last?

    A:

The remote battery is good after 6 months.

    Q:

Is it possible to sync 3 alarms to work with the same remote?

    A:

It can't support the function, just support one alarm to pair up to 8 remotes.

    Q:

Would you be able to hear it in a closed windowed house 6 feet away?

    A:

I pull out my remote and whenever I hear it ring, I am lucky to hear it activated from about 10 feet away. It has become a running joke for some "brain dead" individuals to often knock it down.

    Q:

Will the batteries run out over time?

    A:

It's updated the battery can be used for a long time, for example an alarm need 3AAA alkaline batteries and a remote need a CR2032 button battery.
