Overall Feedback:
76% positive
70% liked the compact and durable design, but 30% found it flimsy
The power consumption of AC-Pro is only 48V and 13W. I was relieved when these powerline adapters worked fine and provided a gigabit connection.
I spent a lot of time troubleshooting and found that the device is responsible for killing what had been plugged into it.
I am disappointed that my internet speed is not as expected. Despite connecting to the 5GHz network and checking my wires, I am unable to achieve speeds over 100mb and I am unsure why.
68% praised the connectivity, but 32% experienced issues
I used a powerline adapter to power my Ubiquiti Unifi FlexHD wireless access point in a meshed environment with wireless uplink.
I found that the AC-Pro consumes only 48V and 13W of power, and was relieved when it worked fine and the connection was Gigabit.
I checked the wires and everything was working fine. I was able to get 500mb speed when I connected directly, but with this power switch, I couldn't go over a certain speed.
75% found it easy to set up and install
It's a clean solution to a simple problem without creating a mess or requiring a wall mount for a PoE injector.
86% found the network speed to be fast and reliable, but 14% experienced slow speeds
I was advised to purchase a Gigabit power switch for achieving speeds over 100mb, but it did not work with this product.
76% praised the extended range and coverage, but 24% experienced dropped signals
I found that the AC-Pro consumes only 48V and 13W of power, but I was relieved when it worked fine and provided a Gigabit connection.
Ethernet is fully bi-directional, meaning there is no concept of data in/out. This relates to the range and coverage of powerline-network-adapters.
The build quality of the POE injector and splitter is better when ordered separately. They are made of black plastic, are gigabit and 802.3af compliant.
