The adapter worked fine for over a week but then stopped working completely.
I am disappointed with the build quality of the powerline-network-adapter. I bumped the Lightning end on a table while still plugged into the iPad, and that was enough to damage the connector where the contacts come out. I have used Lightning cables as long as they have existed and can be pretty rough with them, and I have never had this happen before. There is nothing you can do to prevent this. The Giochem non-powered adapters we bought have worked great and appear to have solid aluminum ends instead of plastic, and that is probably the problem here.
