I assume the build quality of the powerline-network-adapters will stand the test of time.
I found the product to have a solid connection and it was blazing.
The device is easy to use and works over 1990s cabling in my house, which surprised me.
I experienced packet loss after the product worked well for some time. It may be worth picking up as I may have received a defective unit, but it seems to be an issue others have mentioned.

MoCA 2.5 is the latest and greatest standard that allows me to use the coax cable lines in my home for Ethernet. It supports up to 2.5Gbps in traffic and can't be saturated even with the fastest home Internet at this time.
I experience a drop in the signal every 20 to 30 seconds from a known working setup.
My connection constantly drops or loses, causing me to suddenly lose internet to anything connected via that network.
I find it difficult to access the management console as it requires a direct connection to the adapter.

I found the installation process somewhat easy with straightforward instructions. The diagrams posted by other MOCA users on reddit were more helpful in showing where the MOCA adapter should be placed and where the Ethernet connections should be.

I contacted Hitron support and discovered that the device has a maximum throughput of 480mbps.
The link between devices kept dropping and the speed was abysmally slow, less than 10mbps.
I have indicated that the network speed is not as expected and I will never achieve a 2.5Gbps network if I use it to provide a WAN connection.

When I had a solid connection, the adapter was blazing fast. I could easily upload/download from a downstream computer hitting 850/900 mbps.
The product is highly functional and provides close to a full gig download speed and great bandwidth while transferring titles from one gaming console to another, despite being more expensive than other configurations.
I faced a problem with the range and coverage of my powerline-network-adapters. I had to relocate my desk and now it is as far as possible from the main wifi router and there is not a clear signal from the secondary router.
