The accessory provides quick disconnect accessibility to dust collection and installs in seconds.
The unit was difficult to install as the end that attaches to the tool's dust port had a large outer ring that should rotate to allow internal ball bearings to recede into a recess. However, the received unit did not rotate by hand, causing the exposed ball bearings to bind at the dust port's retention ring. I had to use slip joint pliers to clasp both the outer ring and the unit's body to get the leverage to rotate the outer ring.
I found the unit difficult to install due to the end that attaches to the tool's dust port. The ring should rotate to allow internal ball bearings to recede into a recess and thus allow the unit to be installed to its full depth. However, the unit I received would not rotate, at least not by hand, so the exposed ball bearings bind at, rather than pass over, the dust ports retention ring.
