I love how fast the 12 volt stuff charges. With one tool and an extra battery on the charger, I can get through most jobs.
I expected the 12V tools to be lightweight and easy to use, but the 12V drill I bought weighs more than my full-size 20V Dewalt drill.

The 12v system with the battery in the grip is nice, but it makes the grip quite thick. It's recommended to hold it at Home Depot to see if it works, especially for small hands.
If you are coming from DeWalt, you will notice a different grip shape and angle. It is not uncomfortable, just different.
