About Kobalt 24V MAX Brushless 2 Tool Combo Kit
Overall Feedback:
73% positive
86% praised the long-lasting battery life, while 14% found it depleted quickly
The battery life of this power tool combo kit is good and even better than Milwaukee. The warranty is the same as Milwaukee and the price of the batteries is also lower than Milwaukee, as I have mentioned.
My coworker who has Milwaukee tools says that his batteries last as long or longer and I am jealous.
The tool has good battery life with the 2.0Ah LI battery costing only $20 and the 5Ah LI battery costing only $50.
I use a Dewalt brushless impact with the smallest 1.5Ah battery for work.
After six months of usage, the gears of my drill started to go bad.
72% praised the rugged and durable construction
As I started using the tools, I became increasingly impressed with the build quality of the power-tool-combo-kits.
73% appreciated the clear and concise instruction manual, but 27% found it confusing
The power-tool-combo-kits have 3 speed settings that are invaluable for my work. The 3rd setting is powerful enough for the toughest jobs, while the 1st setting is easy enough for my more fragile work. And the 2nd setting is perfect for general use.
I became increasingly impressed with the tools as I began to use them. They are easy to use.
For my more fragile work, the 1st setting of the Kobalt impact driver is easy enough.
I tested the 3 power settings and found them to be roughly 10ftlbs, 25ftlbs, and 75ftlns.
There is a minor delay from when I start pulling the trigger to when it spins, but I stopped noticing it after a few minutes of use.
76% found the tools to be powerful and efficient, but 24% experienced struggles with heavy loads
For my work, the impact has 3 valuable speed settings. The 3rd setting is powerful enough for the toughest jobs, while the 1st setting is easy enough for my more fragile work. The 2nd setting is perfect for general use.
I find the power tool very useful with its 3 speed settings. The 3rd setting is powerful enough for the toughest jobs, while the 1st setting is easy enough for my more fragile work. The 2nd setting is perfect for general use.
I do not like the user interface on Ridgids and Porters, the speed on Milwaukees is poor, and Ryobis are very dated and weak.
After six months of usage, the gears of the drill start to go bad.
73% liked the compact and organized storage case
I always carry my Kobalt power tool on trips because my Dewalt power tool is not powerful enough to break lug nuts when changing a tire.

The battery life seems great so far and I like that it shares the same battery as my porter cable 18g nailer, which is one of my all time favorite tools.
I have personally experienced that the larger battery packs have a long battery life and can be used for professional purposes without frequent recharging.
