About 4000J Power Strip Surge Protector
Overall Feedback:
97% positive
96% liked the mounting options, while 4% raised concerns
I mounted the power-strip easily and securely to a wood panel of my desk using the provided screws. It is much easier and more secure than the usual slots in the back.
The power strip is easy to mount on the side of my desk due to its thin and rectangular size.
Mounting the power strips is easy with the mounting tabs on the corners, without the need to measure hole spacing and screw location.
The screws that come with the power-strip for mounting are cheap aluminum and every single one sheared off when driving by hand with a screwdriver.
94% were satisfied with the surge protection
I already had full building surge protection through the main power feed from the service panel, but I needed a power strip that could hold eight plugs.
I had to use two surge protectors for everything because some stuff is bulky when plugged in, but now it all fits on this one surge protector.
91% appreciated the safety features, however, 9% were disappointed
I bought a power-strip because my cat kept walking on the power switch and shutting everything off. The power-strip has a safety feature of having the power switch on the side, which prevents the cat from doing that anymore.
If the power-strip is not made for 220 volts and still plugged in, it will burn up.
I mounted the power-strip easily and securely to a wood panel of my desk using the provided screws. It is much easier and more secure than the usual slots in the back.
I had to re-wire the power for my home network and used a surge protector to take care of all the small power bricks required for internet routers, switches, NAS etc.
