I can use the saw for trimming branches with an arborist blade, making rough cuts in sheet goods or metal panels with a metal blade, and for most anything that doesnt require a perfect, finish cut with a wood blade, such as decking or strapping.
I find the tool very powerful and ergonomically comfortable.
I cut a piece of 3/4-inch EMT and it worked well enough with the small metal cutting blade that came with it.
