The power pole saw seems well made with a good and sharp chain.
I received the product with the chain linked inside-out, with the teeth pointing toward the center of the ring, and the drive links pointing out.

I used the product to cut the tops of several trees and other smaller branches in my yard and it worked perfectly.
I was able to cut a 6 inch thick scrub oak with the power pole saw.
This attachment makes cutting branches easier than a typical chain saw.

I got the Sunsetter pole saw with an awesome indexable head and all-aluminum housing/gear case. I also got an Oregon bar and chain with it which cuts large limbs like a chainsaw through butter.
If we don't cover the holes with duct tape, the saw will let all the oil run out with very little reaching the chain, and it will likely seize.

I advise maintaining the power pole saw by greasing the housing at the grease port and checking the chain adjust screw is not loose. I also wouldn't trust the factory to properly lubricate the saw.
Some maintenance is required for this tool and keeping proper chain tension is essential, which is easily accomplished.
The saw feels less cheap due to its weight.

I suggest getting a true pole saw that is 8-10 long and weighs less instead of using this attached to a gas weed trimmer as it is not powerful enough for my needs.
