As long as the bar is not jammed between two limbs and turned on, the pole saw is great. It can easily burn up the motor.

I noticed oil under the pole saw and made sure it wasn't hung up incorrectly.
My only complaint is that the box was mangled and it looked like the saw and all components had been taken out and shoved back in.
