About Greenworks 40V 8-Inch Cordless Polesaw, 2.0Ah Battery and Charger
77% appreciated the long-lasting battery life
Throughout my usage, the battery stayed charged and I was able to cut a lot of branches.
69% praised the high-quality chain and bar, though 31% experienced issues
The chain keeps falling off within about 30 minutes of usage.
79% praised the efficient cutting performance, while 21% struggled
I noticed a design flaw as the motor bracket broke on two consecutive units.
The product worked well for the first 10-12 cuts on 4" diameter or smaller wood, but then the chain kept slipping.
66% liked the extended reach, but 34% found it unstable
I can't keep the chain on the bar for more than a few minutes and resetting it is almost impossible.
69% liked the easy maintenance, but 31% encountered problems
I had a hard time reaching some areas behind sheds and near power lines and tried using a manual pole saw which was terrible. This saw solved my problems within minutes.
As long as the bar is not jammed between two limbs and turned on, the pole saw is great. It can easily burn up the motor.
The handle on my unit is installed upside down and cannot be fixed.
75% found it easy to maneuver, but 25% didn't
The saw is top heavy and difficult to maneuver, especially around trees. It's also risky to ditch it since it's expensive and no one wants a chainsaw falling on them or near their head.
69% praised the safety features, although 31% faced issues
I noticed that the handle on the unit is installed upside down and there is no way to fix it. Additionally, the safety switch should be on the top of the handle, not the bottom. 66% appreciated the silent operation, though 34% didn't
I noticed oil under the pole saw and made sure it wasn't hung up incorrectly.
My only complaint is that the box was mangled and it looked like the saw and all components had been taken out and shoved back in.
Trying to reset the chain is almost impossible and it does not stay on the bar for more than a few minutes.
