The battery lasts for 45 minutes to an hour depending on the size of the branch being cut.
The battery needs to be charged overnight as it only lasts for 1 hour.

I bought this pole saw 10 years ago and it is still going strong. There was a couple of years where I did not use it because the original chain had rusted and stopped working, but once I decided to replace the chain, it started working like new again.
I was able to clean up a 3 acre property without sharpening the chain, indicating good chain quality.
I occasionally experience the chain falling off, but it is easy to tighten up.
The chain quality is not good.

I bought 2 extended batteries for this tool and after using just one of them, it doesn't seem to drain them as fast as I had expected.

I found that the pole saw stopped working after a few months of use. Upon disassembling it, I discovered a disconnected wire from the terminal which I resoldered. It worked for a short time before the terminal came off the post on the motor. I recrimped the terminal to the post but it broke off the motor after a few minutes. I was very disappointed with the maintenance of the pole saw.
