I have found that the 3/8 inch impact wrench holds its own against other millwrights in terms of extracting power.
As a commercial tire technician, I can confirm that the impact wrench can remove most car and light truck lug nuts.
I tried to tighten the lug nut with the impact wrench and then used the craftsman torque to torque it to 75ft-ib, but it still turned before clicking. The max fastening torque is not 250.
